Our story begins in 2017, when a small family dream turned into Sydney’s first Cannoleria. From a tiny shopfront in South Hurstville, we piped our cannoli fresh on the spot, using our Nonna Angelina’s cherished family recipes — shells crisp, ricotta cream smooth, each one made with love and care. What started as a humble idea quickly grew into a neighbourhood favourite, with locals lining up for that first bite of authentic Italian tradition.
By 2022 we relocated to a larger space in Kogarah, now our flagship Cannoleria & Gift Store, where we could share more of what we love: cannoli, gelato, biscotti, and a curated range of artisanal Italian gifts. Here, the ritual of un caffè con dolce (coffee with something sweet) is alive and well, from cannoli boxes, homemade biscotti and gelato shakes to spritz drinks and hand-painted ceramics from Umbria, Italy.
While our space has grown, our philosophy remains the same:
Every day, we source fresh ingredients from local Sydney artisans, including award-winning ricotta — so that every cannolo is one you can both trust and love. And while we now welcome cannoli lovers from all over Sydney (and beyond), we remain a small family-run cannoleria, dedicated to craft, heritage, and community.
When you visit Cannoleria Piccola®, you’re not supporting a large chain — you’re supporting a small family business with deep Italian roots, a passion for quality, and a belief that la dolce vita is best enjoyed one cannolo at a time.
